Child Car Seats – Safety Inspection
The following organizations offer car seat safety inspections:
- Concord Hospital's Center for Health Promotion, call 230-7300 to schedule an appointment or to find out when their monthly inspection will take place.
- Concord Fire Department, contact Lieutenant Kiehl at 225-8651.
- Concord Police Department, contact Officer Crane or Officer Moreira at 225-8600.
Central NH Transportation: 225-3003
Central New Hampshire Transportation (CNHT) is a cooperative program that provides door-to-door transportation for people who are not able to use existing fixed-route service. Through this new system, four agencies provide a pool of vehicles to expand transportation services in central New Hampshire. Once this call is placed, a central scheduler will coordinate between the agencies to schedule rides. Rides will be provided based on vehicle availability. The first time a person calls to schedule a ride, they will be asked questions to determine eligibility. Rides can be scheduled for Monday through Friday travel between the hours of 6:00am and 5:30pm to transport people to medical appointments, work, shopping, meetings, social engagements, and more.

Provides bus service within Concord and Penacook. Monday-Friday. Hours: 6:00am-6:30pm. Also operates senior transit system for those 60 and older and special transit service for people with disabilities. Call to determine eligibility and availability for rides with these programs.
